{"id":785,"date":"2026-06-24T17:11:33","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T20:11:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/andreafleury.com\/?p=785"},"modified":"2026-07-15T22:28:22","modified_gmt":"2026-07-16T01:28:22","slug":"scorpion-in-me-a-song-about-transformation-strength-and-identity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/andreafleury.com\/pt\/2026\/06\/24\/scorpion-in-me-a-song-about-transformation-strength-and-identity\/","title":{"rendered":"Scorpion In Me: A Song About Transformation, Strength and Identity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"366\" data-end=\"390\">Some songs tell stories.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"392\" data-end=\"426\">Others reveal parts of who we are.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"428\" data-end=\"655\"><strong data-start=\"428\" data-end=\"446\">Scorpion In Me<\/strong> was born from the desire to translate into music some of the characteristics often associated with the Scorpio sign: emotional depth, intensity, resilience and the ability to transform challenges into growth.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"657\" data-end=\"704\">The inspiration for this song is also personal.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"706\" data-end=\"908\">I am a Scorpio, born on <strong data-start=\"730\" data-end=\"745\">November 12<\/strong>, and many of the emotions, images and reflections present in the lyrics were inspired by experiences and perspectives that have accompanied me throughout my life.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"910\" data-end=\"961\">However, this is not simply a song about astrology.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"963\" data-end=\"1003\">It is a song about the human experience.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1005\" data-end=\"1118\">It is about change, self-discovery, resilience and the ability to move forward while remaining true to ourselves.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1120\" data-end=\"1310\">In the lyrics, the scorpion appears as a symbol of transformation. It represents someone who feels deeply, observes carefully and learns to turn difficult experiences into wisdom and growth.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1515\">The musical arrangement was designed to support this journey. The instrumental layers move between moments of delicacy and intensity, creating an atmosphere that reflects both vulnerability and strength.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1517\" data-end=\"1581\">One special aspect of this project is the voice behind the song.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1583\" data-end=\"1869\">Although <strong data-start=\"1592\" data-end=\"1611\">Maria de Castro<\/strong> is the artistic identity that gives life to this musical universe, the vocals were recorded by me, <strong data-start=\"1711\" data-end=\"1735\">Andrea Fleury Curado<\/strong>. Through my voice, I helped bring the song to life, adding interpretation, emotion and a personal connection to the story being told.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1871\" data-end=\"2079\">Maria de Castro was created as a space for songs inspired by memory, emotion and human experiences.
